A few days ago I felt adventurous and decided to pick a fish at Whole Foods that I haven’t tried before – Monkfish – and let me tell you, it was really good. I would say Monkfish has a flavor similar to lobster!
1 monkfish fillet
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp salt (I use pink Himalayan Salt)
1/2 tsp black pepper
Season the fish fillet with 1 tsp of salt and 1/2 tsp of black pepper.
Crush the 2 cloves of garlic in a mortar (you can also grate the garlic, or use minced garlic if you don’t have a mortar) and add 1/4 cup of the olive oil.
Spread the marinade over the fish and brown it on each side in a non-stick pan (about 5 minutes per side).
Dinner is ready! Serve it with a nice green salad! We enjoyed it with Cannellini bean salad!
