The morning started out to be rainy and cloudy here in Florida, a perfect day to organize and clean :-)! My girls were busy coloring, and I was determined to organize my kitchen cabinets and drawers one at a time. On today’s list was my pots and pans cabinet.
About five years ago, we purchased a nice stainless steel cookware set. And I love everything about it EXCEPT the mineral deposits. So, before the organization could proceed, the annoying mineral deposits had to be tackled!
So, I am rolling up my sleeves and pulling out my sponge and Bar Keepers Friend®! Guys, I discovered this product a few years ago, and I absolutely love it! It works like magic!!!!
I am slightly embarrassed to show you this picture, but I think after you see the before and after picture, you might come to appreciate my “friend” as well. Ha!
Here is one more “before and after” picture of my extremely well-used (as I like to call it 🙂 frying pan.
It was not only well used, but it had some burnt stain on the left side as well. Go ahead and zoom in. I will close my eyes. 🙂
Can you believe it?! I mean it took me less than a minute to clean it. I didn’t even have to apply a layer of this powder and let it soak.
By the way, if you have a stainless-steel sink in your kitchen, use this magic powder on it as well. It removes all stains and leaves a shiny sink behind.
As the stains vanished on my cookware, so did the clouds in the sky here! The pots were sparkling and shining like the sun outside!
If you guys have any tips, tricks or products you use for your stainless-steel cookware, please let me know. I would love to hear from you!
